Tasting from 19.04.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Brilliant ruby red with cherry-red reflections. Clearly shows wood on the nose, reminiscent of vanilla, light tobacco and preserved cherries. Wood is also vivid on the palate, again vanilla and cocoa butter, with a certain juiciness and fine drive in the mid-palate, unfortunately dominated by the wood in the finish and lacking some fruit.
