The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Le Bèrne has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliantly shimmering ruby red. Exceptionally fragrant of ripe redcurrant, plum and stewed raspberry, slightly earthy and dried bread crust. Builds powerfully with a beautiful creaminess and soft fruit texture, powerful with pithy tannins, finishes savoury and lingers on the finish.
