The red wine The Rebel Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Le due Torri has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Schioppettino from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a brightening rim. Dried cherry, milk chocolate, dried rose petal, caramel and strawberry mousse on the nose. On the palate it shows with grippy tannins and a fine mint aroma, also very savoury, surprisingly good freshness, has nothing to do with Schioppettino, but is a well-made red wine.
