Tasting from 17.03.2023: Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler

Dark ruby red. On the nose animal-earthy, walnut, earth, gunpowder, prunes, leather and sealing wax. On the palate a surprisingly nice freshness, with an earthy texture, tightly woven tannins, repeatedly juicy on the back end, a Brunello with an individual character. Best aerated before enjoying.
