It has a bright ruby red colour. It has hearty aromas, with delicate nuances of light malt, dried rose hip, rich cherry, a fine savouriness, cinnamon, and leather. It is radiant and full on the palate, building up with slightly salty mineral components. It also has drive, drinks very well, and is a distinctive and powerful wine.
