The red wine Boschivo, vintage 2012 from the winery Leopoldo I di Toscana has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, intense ruby, rich. Appealing, dense nose, notes of ripe plums, lots of cassis, slightly smoky notes in the background. A full-bodied attack and finish, opens with plenty of present, fine-meshed tannins, builds well, fine fruity sweetness on the finish.
