The white wine Picol Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2003 from the winery Lis Neris has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense, sparkling light gold. Exciting and complex aromas of cold butter, vanilla pod, orange peel and white flowers, with fine hints of honey, dried grapefruit in the background, slightly smoky and stony. Full on the palate with elegant aromas of precious wood and café au lait, underpinned by a beautiful freshness, warm-hearted, rich, full-bodied, has held up very well.
