The white wine Jurosa Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Lis Neris has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Brilliant, shimmering greenish yellow. Emphatically reductive notes on the nose, of thyme and anise, some lemon, orange zest and mango. On the palate, taut and bright, opens with lots of exotic fruit, spreads richly into a very long finish. Still needs some time but has the best assets.
