Deep red in the glass, full-bodied nose with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, blackcurrant, lots of chocolate and wood savouriness. Soft and savoury on the palate with good concentration, powerful structure and also distinctive, well-ripened tannins, ripe fruit, good length and substance for stews and long winter evenings.
