The red wine Magoutes Xinomavro Siatista PGI, vintage 2019 from the winery Magoutes Vineyard has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points.
Deep crimson, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. On the nose, red fruits of the forest confit, a hint of tomato sauce, subtle tobacco nuances and a dark minerality. Taut and elegant, appears quite light-footed with red cherries, fresh acidity, subtle tannins and a salty finish. A finesse-rich food wine.
