Dark, impenetrable ruby violet. Opens with rich spicy notes of cloves and cardamom, then also slightly smoky notes, finally lots of blackberries. Lots of juicy, dark berry fruit on the palate, shows pithy, gripping tannins, deep and salty, long finish.
