Typical of the variety with a deep dark, dense colour in the glass. Dark berry fruit and peppery spice on the nose, black cherries, blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate. Juicy on the palate with a slight edge, gripping acidity to the dark and warm fruit, pithy yet ripe tannin provides structure, good length.
