The white wine Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Le Charmois, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Marc Colin et Fils has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Reductive on the nose, powdery vapour, also some vanilla cream, orange blossom. On the palate, the wine weaves a striking texture together with salty and tactile mineral motifs into a supple, even slightly viscous body. The oak is vivid without dominating. The finish is compact and very youthful, the tactile minerality remains noticeably longer and more intense than all the aromas.
