The red wine Mazzaferrata Colli Toscana Centrale IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Marchesi Gondi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. A mixture of elegant green spice, cassis and dark berry fruit on the nose, underpinned by oak notes, coconut and a hint of milk chocolate. Juicy and clear on the palate, with a medium body, pithy structure and tight-knit tannins, still needs some ageing, good prospects.
