Tasting from 14.07.2016: Ulrich Sautter

Light golden. Fragrant with clear notes of Marsala, raisin and butterscotch, a delicate hint of oxidation, a very fine, silky mousse on the palate, rich berry fruit (also almost raisin-like), almost sweetish despite the discreetly supporting acidity throughout the palate and despite the extra brut character. A subtle yet sensual sparkling wine, with length, intense fruit and an authentic expression of its origin.
