The red wine Aglianico Cilento Riserva DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Azienda Vitivinicola Marino has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a lighter rim. Subtly perfumed on the nose, reminiscent of lavender and ripe plum, with some leather and verbena behind it. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate, rich in extract and powerful, somewhat rustic tannin structure, warm finish.
