The red wine Faugères AOC Rarissime Rouge, vintage 2015 from the winery Mas Gabinèle has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Syrah, Syrah, Grenache, Grenache, Mourvèdre from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Dark ruby, opaque core, violet tints, delicate bright rim. Attractive dark forest berry fruit, a touch of candied violets, delicate black olives and nougat, multilayered bouquet. Full, black cherries, liquorice, violets also on the palate, firm, supporting tannins, good freshness, shows length and safe further ageing potential.
