The red wine Liala Negroamaro Salento IGP, vintage 2022 from the winery Masseria Borgo dei Trulli has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Puglia in Italy.
Dense ruby red with brightening edges. Dried fruit and sugared fruit tea on the nose, also reminiscent of thyme, eucalyptus and cold coffee. Rough on the palate, with loosely knit tannins and concentrated fruit, also reminiscent of coffee candy and peat, with a subtle bitter note and aftertaste on the finish.
