The red wine Radici Taurasi Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Mastroberardino has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Rich ruby red with slight brightening on the rim. Ripe blackberry and lush plum on the nose, with subtle hints of dark chocolate, coffee grounds, liquorice and a touch of leather. Powerful but well-integrated tannin on the palate, with plenty of ripe fruit and a long finish.
