The red wine Punta Grecca, vintage 2021 from the winery Medea Winery has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot
Dark ruby in colour with ochre reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, delicate nougat, a hint of cassis and blackberry confit, some vanilla, underpinned with candied orange zest. The powerful, complex palate is tight-knit, sweet and concentrated, with ripe plum notes, round tannins, chocolatey and clingy, a powerful wine, without rough edges, something for the big boys.
