The red wine Medeiros Special Selection Alentejo DOC, vintage 2013 from the winery Medeiros has been rated in 2017 by Sautter, Ulrich with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
Highly ripe cherry, almost Amarone notes, buttery background, some vanilla, on the palate with fire, but also with a very intense palate fruit, beginning crumbly tannin, well-integrated alcohol, a full-fruited fun-bringer with an unusual density for the price range.
