The red wine Cardellino Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Monnanni - Poggi del Chianti has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon
Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Nose of fine oak, cranberries, liquorice, some cedar on the finish. Nice drive on the palate, compact, earthy tones, unfortunately dominated by tannins on the finish and dries out slightly.
