The red wine Seretina Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Monterotondo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense and rich ruby red with a bright core. Rich, savoury nose with notes of dark chocolate, blackberries, some pepper, also has slightly earthy components. Extremely gripping on the palate with very structured tannins, strong drive and a savoury mid-palate, deep finish with a slight dryness.
