The red wine Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso FCO DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Monviert has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points.
Dark, rich garnet. On the nose ripe strawberry, nut butter, bourbon vanilla, fine oak, some burnt hazelnut and blackberry towards the end. Good energy on the palate and balanced interplay, clean mouthfeel, with beautiful use of oak, remains long on the finish. .
