Bright ruby with a slight purple shimmer. A fragrance of elderberries and ripe plums, and some background treacle notes. Lots of ripe, dark cherries on the palate, characterises the composition, sweet and crisp, finely-woven tannins, expanding beautifully and marked by a voluminous finish.
