The red wine Borrigliona 211 Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Neri has been rated in 2024 by Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with a fine garnet rim. Compact and profound nose, opens with rich notes of blackberry, some dark cherry, underpinned by stony notes. Juicy and appealing on the palate, unfolds with grippy tannins, unfortunately somewhat drying on the finish, savoury.
