Bright, intense garnet; fine nose with lots of ripe raspberry fruit, behind it subtle spicy components, like cinnamon; shows lots of tightly structured tannin on the palate, with a fine, sweet core, gripping and hearty, spreads out beautifully, long finish, very elegant.
