The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Palagio di Panzano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a slight garnet rim. Opens with pronounced earthy notes of beet and tobacco, then dark cherry. Blossoms beautifully on the palate, opens with vivid, pithy tannins, firm drive on the finish.
