The red wine Sangiovese Montecucco Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Parmoleto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense garnet with a ruby red core. Compact on the nose, milk chocolate and dried strawberries, then blood orange and bay leaf. Taut on the palate, lively acidity and ripe fruit, unfortunately a little bitter in the mid-palate, reminiscent of blood in the finish, appears very ripe.
