Subtle smoke clothes shy hints of plum that are accompanied by hints of iron oxide and stone. The palate is almost translucent, finely drawn, pitched on the elegant side with a fine, almost filigree frame of tannins. Nothing here is overdone. A rich and sonorous note of vanilla adds a mere accent towards the finish on this elegant wine. Beautiful.
