The red wine Barolo DOCG Cannubi, vintage 2021 from the winery Pico Maccario has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, medium dark ruby red colour. Dense and seductive on the nose, with hints of Amarena cherries and dark chocolate, followed by saddle leather and earthy notes. Polished on the palate initially, it then takes a wide turn, with firm tannins and concentrated fruit, right into the very long finish.
