The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Pietroso has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, shiny ruby red colour. Elegant nose, ripe cherry, cigar box and violets. On the palate, lots of juice, vibrant acidity, well-integrated, ripe tannins, playful, lasts long and remains very juicy and animating even on the finish.
