The red wine Il Superbo Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Podere 7 Sette has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet with brownish accents. Opens on nuances of dried plums, some rum confit, light paprika and dark couverture. Spreads widely, skillfully interwoven tannins, taut with tension and line, good concentration on the palate, finishes somewhat dry on a delicate fruit texture.
