The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Podere L’Aja has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense and bright ruby red with a light brick-red rim. Not quite precise on the nose, hiding behind a vivid note of alcohol. Initially fruity on the palate with juicy tannins, stretches beautifully over the tongue, long, switches to a slight dryness on the finish.
