The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Podere Martoccia has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby red with a delicate, brighter rim. A concentrated nose of ripe cherry, some plum and black olive. Initially supple and slightly creamy on the palate, nestles delicately on the tongue. Very juicy, somewhat bitter in the middle section. Finishes with a gripping finish.
