The red wine Bolgheri Rosso DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Podere Roseto has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, bright ruby red. Floral start on the nose of delicate rose petal, then fresh blackberry, light cedar and spruce shoots. Fine-meshed on the palate, dense tannins wind their way through the palate, with good persistence, compact at the core, remains very long and juicy on the finish and finishes on tart savoury notes.
