The red wine Cicala Barolo Bussia DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Poderi Aldo Conterno has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Deep ruby with a slight lightening on the rim. Dense and deep nose, of blackberries and raspberries, underpinned by notes of fine spices, of cardamom and a pinch of pepper. Taut and dense tannins on the palate, multi-layered, with a rich drive, plenty of raspberry fruit, and a strong drive on the finish.
