The red wine Borgo dei Guidi Rubicone IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Poderi dal Nespoli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Deep ruby red with slightly brightening edges. Intensely fragrant on the nose with notes of ripe plum, dark cherry, black pepper and dark chocolate, also toasted aromas. On the palate there is well-integrated acidity and plenty of sweetness, creamy tannic structure, shows nice length and harmonious balance, with sweet nuances on the finish.
