The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva Bugialla, vintage 2012 from the winery Poggerino has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Bright ruby with slightly paler rim. Very fragrant nose with notes of cardamom, some dried tomato, white pepper, then also lots of cherry. Juicy and smooth on the palate, showing lots of cherry and raspberry, then opens up with pithy, dense tannins, builds nicely with a fruity texture.
