Tasting Notes

90
Tasting from 31.08.2006

Rich, impenetrable ruby purple; very compact nose with concentrated dark currant fruit, fine dark chocolate, subtle smoky notes in the background; also shows compact, sweet fruit on the palate, then unfolds with gripping, grippy tannin, currently still seems a little dry, but has a nice sweetness at its core, still needs some ageing, persistent.
