Tasting from 24.09.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich ruby with a violet core. Opens with notes of tobacco and black truffle, then lots of elderberries, hearty. On the approach a lot of dark berry fruit, but then opens up with quite loosely knit tannin, quite drying on the finish.
