Clear, shimmering ruby with light red accents on the rim. Finely drawn nose of ripe plums and dried blackberries, cayenne pepper, a little humus. Stretches out widely, dense tannin clings to the cheeks, with power on the palate, beautiful persistence, some grapefruit on the finish.
