The red wine Le Caggiole Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Poliziano has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Elegantly fragrant nose with wild strawberries, cherries, subtle oak, cold smoke, some plum and red-cheeked peach, complex and fine. On the palate with clear, bright fruit, embedded in tight-knit, salty tannin, precise, clear, comes in many layers, shows very great ageing potential, already accessible, uniquely nobile!
