Ripe and focused nose with blackcurrant and black cherry, fine wood savouriness with a hint of vanilla, quite elegant. Also on the palate a well-groomed appearance with good substance and density, fine-grained and carefully extracted tannin, shows texture and a good balance of the elements, again with clear, pure dark fruit, good length, very balanced.
