The sparkling wine Praeclarus Brut Cuvée St. Pauls DOC from the winery Praeclarus has been rated in 2013 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
A sparkling ruby color with a slight greenish tinge and fine bubbles. On the nose, it reveals lovely mature notes of apple, brioche, and a hint of raspberry. Very smooth on the palate at first, then gradually gaining depth; very fine bubbles, delicate ripe fruit, round; the finish features pronounced mineral notes and a nutty character—it leaves you wanting another glass!
