Brilliant, rich ruby. Intense and fragrant nose, with notes of cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, underpinned by hints of dried kitchen herbs. Smooth and appealing on the palate, shows present fruit, unfolds with fine-meshed tannins, very clear and elegant, still a clear wood overhang on the finish, but should integrate well with ageing.
