It has a bright intense ruby red colour, with a slightly lighter rim. There are aromas of rich fruit, with notes of cherry, pomegranate, and blackberry, it is very vivid. On the palate it is juicy, with dark fruit, and grippy hearty tannins. It is still somewhat marked by oak on the finish, and it still needs time.
