Deep dark purple in colour. Vinous notes on the nose give way to aromas of cherry juice, blackberry jelly, a touch of savouriness and dark chocolate. The palate although dry, has light malt and milk chocolate notes providing a touch of sweetness. Marked by some noticeable tannin, overall the wine seems very young and currently inharmonious.
