The red wine Bansella Nizza DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Prunotto has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a rich core. Tobacco and leather on the nose, carried by ripe wild berries, seems mysterious. Juicy and elegant drink with vibrant acidity and clear fruit, becomes juicy on the tongue, slightly salty, short finish but again, juicy.
More about the tastingDelicate nose with aromas of ripe sour cherry, cassis and wild berryish. With ethereal notes. Lean, juicy on the palate with beautiful fruit and barely noticeable tannins. Lovely long, fruity finish.
