Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Somewhat shy bouquet, nuances of strawberry confit, hints of chocolate and spices. Sweet and opulent on the palate, baroque style, vivid tannins, seems a bit alcoholic with some gentle drying, and there is some honey on the finish.
